Karen Hathaway and Patrick McGovern meet on a tall ship on a cruise to Prince Edward Island. He is the author of two published novels: An Uncommon Woman and A Week in October, and a work of nonfiction entitled The Case Against Evangelical Christianity. His musical play, “Lighthouse Point,” was performed as a fundraiser for the Martha’s Vineyard Museum in 2013.
