Starting in the red rocks of Arizona, it travels around the world and back to Nando as he is going to bed that evening. Nando could never have imagined that his yawn would travel so far and return to him so quickly. Enjoy the journey as the yawn experiences a variety of creatures and countries and visits so many people of different cultures during its travels.

Tim Barmettler and William Hoover were born on the same day and grew up in the same neighborhood in Omaha, Nebraska. They met on their first day of kindergarten and have been friends ever since. They grew up fishing, playing soccer and basketball together while sharing dreams of being rock stars, professional soccer players, and world travelers. Both dreamed of adventures and traveling the world. Neither could have imagined that one day they would write a book about such travels. In high school, they both played on the varsity soccer team and continued to be good friends. After high school, they parted ways when William stayed in Omaha to attend Creighton University while Timothy ventured to Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. Today, William is enjoying a successful career as an artist in Omaha where he lives with his wife, Stacia. Hoover Studios is very well known in the Omaha art community. Timothy is living in Gilbert, Arizona with his wife, Barb and children, Will and Ally. He enjoys teaching English and coaching soccer.
