About Sunstone Press
SUNSTONE PRESS, an Independent Publisher since 1971, is a growing and respected publishing house located in downtown Santa Fe, New Mexico and its books are sold nationally and internationally. Sunstone also has an extensive line of full-color notecards and gift enclosures that feature museum quality images by well-known artists.
Sunstone's original focus was on non-fiction subjects that preserved and highlighted the richness of the American Southwest but it has expanded its view over the years to include mainstream themes and categories--both non-fiction and fiction--that have a more general appeal. Many of Sunstone's books also have excellent movie and TV potential.
Sunstone Press has won many awards over the years including the prestigious Spur Award, on several occasions, from Western Writers of America, and its books have been extensively reviewed in such industry publications as PUBLISHERS WEEKLY, BOOKLIST, LIBRARY JOURNAL, and SCHOOL LIBRARY JOURNAL as well as countless newspapers and magazines.
SUNSTONE PRESS is listed as one of the TOP 101 INDEPENDENT BOOK PUBLISHERS by John Kremer, author of "1001 Ways to Market Your Books" and editor of the "Book Marketing Update" newsletter.
